1. Data controller

www.trullux.it is the official website of Trullux, a Civis Hotels property in Contrada Genovese, 72013 Ceglie Messapica (BR), Italy. Controller: Pietro d'Ippolito, Via Sapri 2, 88046 Lamezia Terme (CZ), P.IVA 03748390790. Privacy contact: trullux@civishotels.com.

2. Browsing

The website is made of static pages. The hosting provider, Vercel Inc., like any web server, logs technical request data (IP address, browser, page, date and time) to deliver the site and protect it from abuse, on the basis of legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Page addresses contain no personal data.

3. Log retention and transfer

Vercel Inc. processes the logs on our behalf as a processor (Art. 28 GDPR) and keeps them for the short period set by the hosting service; we do not export them or combine them with other data. Vercel is based in the United States: the transfer relies on the Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission (Decision (EU) 2021/914, Art. 46 GDPR), included in Vercel's Data Processing Addendum.

4. Booking request

The form sends nothing to the website: it composes an email with your dates and number of guests and opens it in your own email program. The message only reaches us if you send it. We process the data we receive (name, contact details, content) to reply and manage your stay, on the basis of pre-contractual steps or the contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). Messages are kept as long as the request requires; booking data for 10 years, for accounting and tax obligations.

5. Cookies and local storage

The website uses no cookies and no analytics or advertising tools. The booking bar keeps the chosen dates and number of guests in the open tab (sessionStorage, civis-bookbar), so they stay the same from page to page: this storage is strictly necessary for the service you request (Art. 122 of the Italian Privacy Code), identifies no one, is never sent to the website and is deleted when the tab is closed. The light or dark theme follows your device setting; the theme button changes it for the open page only and saves nothing.

6. Third-party sites

Google Maps (the Directions link) and the websites of the other Civis properties open only when clicked and apply their own privacy notices.

7. Your rights

To exercise access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection, write to trullux@civishotels.com. You may also lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (www.garanteprivacy.it).
